One tap on any recipe.Make it better sits beside Cook Mode on the web and on Recipe Details on the phone. The AI deepens the flavour with the techniques a chef would use, browning, spices bloomed in fat, umami, acid at the end, and shows a What changed and why list with the improved recipe. Save it as a new recipe, replace the original (web) or keep what you had. Pro.
The site now says what the app is for in five words: spend less, cook better.

Upgrade the box
Packaged meals as ingredients. On Cook from what I have, tick Upgrade the box and the instant ramen, boxed mac and cheese, jarred sauce, canned soup or frozen pizza in your pantry become kits of parts. The ideas say which package they rebuild and how, and the full recipe uses the techniques that make the difference: browning, blooming the seasoning in fat, a finish of acid or something fresh. Nothing is added that you don't have.
Nutrition knows the common packaged foods now, so an upgraded box is counted by its USDA record rather than guessed.
Every recipe carries a serving count. Where the AI had left it out, it's read from the serving line ("half the pot" is two), so a bowl is never logged as the whole pot.

Imports credit the site
From thesite.com. A recipe imported from a link keeps the site's name, the author when the page names one, and a link to the original page, under its title on the phone and the web, on Browse cards, in exports and on any copy you share. Once the AI rewrites it the line reads Adapted from. Nothing is saved from the page but the recipe itself.
Search your recipes or Browse by a site's name and the imports from it come up.
Fix the tags. The recipe editor on both apps now has a tags field, with the cuisines as one-tap chips; the first tag is what Browse files the recipe under. Browse also learned Filipino, Spanish, Caribbean, Latin American, German, British and Irish, African and Southeast Asian cooking, and a cuisine named in a title now beats a wrong tag.
Recipe sites can add a Save to Your Way Kitchen link to their pages, one line of HTML, explained at yourwaykitchen.com/for-sites, where readers will also find a bookmarklet that saves any recipe page in one click.

iPhone is next; ask to be told and you'll get one email when it lands.

Training days
Worked out today. Under the date on Today, on the phone and the web: pick how long, what and how hard, and that day's calorie target grows, with an extra protein bump (25 g unless you change it in Daily nutrition targets). The estimate uses the standard MET value for the activity, your last weigh-in and the time, counts only what's above sitting still, and is capped at 800. Type over it if you'd rather use your watch's number. How it works.
It lands on the right meals. The extra is split across the planned meals you haven't eaten yet, so an evening session goes to dinner. Each shows its share, a one-tap try 1.25 servings when a bigger portion covers it, and Re-adapt the dish (Pro), which rewrites that meal as its post-workout version and puts it back on the calendar.
Weekly Review counts your training days and what they added.

A pantry that remembers
A pantry page.Pantry in the web's top bar, and the basket icon on the phone's Today screen, hold what's in your kitchen right now with a rough quantity for each item. Add by hand, scan a barcode, tap the quick-add chips, or photograph your shelves (Pro) and everything the AI sees is added, never duplicating what's there. Staples stay what they were: the things you always have.
It fills itself. A receipt scan puts the items it reads into the pantry (untick the box if you'd rather not), and Add ticked to pantry on the shopping list moves what you bought in with one tap.
It empties honestly. When you finish a recipe in Cook Mode, the pantry items it used are listed under Used up anything? Tick what's gone; nothing is removed on its own.
Everything reads it. Shopping lists arrive with pantry items ticked and marked in pantry (un-tick if you need more). Most in my pantry in Browse and Cook from what I have use the pantry instead of a 24-hour scan, and the Single Meal and plan generators have a Use my pantry button that fills the ingredients box.

Nutrition computed from USDA, minerals and vitamin D, a quicker start
Recipe nutrition is now computed, not estimated. A few seconds after a recipe is created, imported, adapted or edited, each ingredient line is matched to a USDA food record, weighed using that food's own household measures, and the calories, macros, fibre, sodium and minerals are totalled from the records. Every recipe says so under its badges, computed from USDA for 9 of 11 ingredients, 1 estimated, and on the web Show the matches lists each line, its weight and the record. Existing recipes have been recomputed.
More nutrition on Today opens fibre, sodium, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron and vitamin D against the daily value. Foods logged by search carry the USDA's measured figures, barcode foods what the label declares, recipes the AI's estimate; a line says what share of the day's calories came with figures.
The weekly review adds one plain sentence on minerals and fibre when enough of the week's food carried the data, naming what ran lowest and a food that would close the gap.
Net carbs replace carbs on Today for keto, low-carb and diabetic-friendly eating styles; fibre is shown for everyone.
A new account on the web now answers three questions and lands on Today; the rest of the profile is asked for when it matters.
Switching from MyFitnessPal: Bring in MyFitnessPal in web Preferences reads your Premium export (weight history and per-meal totals) in the browser, every account gets five free recipe imports from a photo or link, and there's a guide to the rest.
Single-recipe requests come back about twice as fast.

Occasions in Browse, and a refresh
Browse has Occasion chips: Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Hanukkah, New Year's, Valentine's, Easter, Summer BBQ and Game day. The ones in season this month are marked, and recipes show their occasions on the card.
Refresh on the web's Browse page, and pull down on the phone's Browse list, fetch recipes shared a moment ago.
Recipes typed in by hand can now be shared like any other, on the web and on the phone.

Browse by cuisine, cook from your pantry, and find the help
Browse now has cuisine and meal chips, and a sort: newest, top rated, A to Z, or Most in my pantry. Each card says how many of its ingredients you already have, from your last pantry scan and your staples, and what's missing.
Recipes from the Your Way Kitchen test kitchen are arriving in Browse: classic dishes and plates we liked when eating out, written up with the AI's help and checked by a person. Make them your way with AI adjust.
Help is easier to find: Help and What's new in the web app's top bar and footer, a Help card in Preferences, and a Help & What's New section in the phone's Settings. "How it works" links sit next to the pantry scan, receipt scan and prices.
Reading a recipe on the web: A− and A+ change the recipe's text size without touching the rest of the page, and Wide lays it out with the ingredients beside the steps across the whole window. Both are remembered.
In the recipe editor, step and description boxes grow to fit their text.
The Appearance setting now says plainly that themes are web only.

Real prices, receipt scanning, and a shorter planner view
Cost estimates now start from typical US prices for about 160 staples, adjusted for your shopping preference, and use what you actually paid first.
Record a price with the $ on any shopping-list item, or Scan receipt (Pro) to read a whole receipt into a review list. Non-food lines and card details are ignored and the photo is deleted after reading.
My prices in web Preferences lists what you've recorded; add or remove entries there.
The web planner's Show menu switches between the full week and any 1 to 6 days.

Just this dish, cook it as written, and cook with your appliances
Just this dish on Single Meal makes one recipe for a side, snack, sauce, dessert or drink, with no meal built around it. Without a day it goes to My Recipes.
Cook it as written makes the classic version for that run only, ignoring your diet, likes and dislikes. Allergies always apply. Full weekly plans always follow your profile.
Cook with picks an appliance from your profile for a plan, a single meal or an AI rewrite. Your appliances are now preferred whenever they suit the dish.
The web can take a photo with the camera when logging food, scanning the pantry or importing a recipe.
Photo food logging suggests putting a fork or a card in the frame for scale, and records the portion it saw.
Web recipe import now applies your profile, with an option to import as written.
