For recipe sites

Your recipes keep your name on them.

When someone brings one of your recipes into Your Way Kitchen from its web address, the recipe carries a From yoursite.com line with a link to the original page, on their phone, on the web, in their exports, and on any copy they share. If they let the AI rewrite it, the line becomes Adapted from yoursite.com. Nothing of yours is passed off as ours.

Add a "Save to Your Way Kitchen" link

One link on each recipe page. It opens the web app, signs the reader in if they aren't, and imports the recipe straight away, with your site credited.

<a href="https://app.yourwaykitchen.com/recipes/new?import=https%3A%2F%2Fyoursite.com%2Frecipes%2Fmushroom-risotto">
  Save to Your Way Kitchen
</a>

Put the page's full address after import=, URL-encoded (most templating languages have a helper for that; encodeURIComponent in JavaScript). The link works on a phone's browser too.

What the import reads

Standard schema.org/Recipe structured data (the JSON-LD most recipe plugins already emit): the ingredients are kept exactly, the steps are rephrased, and the author named in your markup and your site's og:site_name appear in the credit. Pages without structured data are read as text. We fetch the page once, at the moment of import, and never crawl.
